Police have arrested Sagar KC, 24, of Kumakhamalika Rural Municipality -7 in Salyan district on December 9 on charges of raping a 26-year-old woman.
DSP Sunil Jung Shah of the Metropolitan Police Circle Janasewa said that the accused KC used to walk around as a third gender in the form of a boy during the day and a girl at night and with the name Sarada.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Kathmandu Metropolitan Campus on November 29 alleging that the accused KC had raped her on November 27. Police are investigating the case.
The health examination of the victim has been conducted at Thapathali Maternity Home on November 28.
