Police have arrested Ram Bahadur nepali, 41 on October 24 on charge of beating and killing his 37 years old wife Champi Nepali of Ghorahi Sub-metropolis-12, Gurje.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office on October 24. The accused had severely beaten his wife in an inebriated state over a domestic dispute on October 21. The victim sustained head injuries along with several bruises over her body according to inspector Rajan Gautam of District Police Office.
The victim died after not getting treatment for 24 hours according to the victim’s party. The postmortem of the body was conducted at Rapti Institute of Health and Science on October 24 and incident is under the investigation according to police.
