The District Court of Jajarkot has ordered to sentence 27 years old Hem rak Khadka of Kohalpur Municipality-12, Musurikhet after finding him guilty on raping 16 years old girl.
A single bench of District Court judge Dev Kumar Giri had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 25,000 from the convict.
A complaint against the accused was lodged at District Police Office of Jajarkot by the victim’s family on January 30.
He was arrested on January 31 by the police for investigation. On January 30, the victim underwent health checkup t District Hospital.
