The District Court of Siraha has ordered to sentence 35 years old Oli Rain of Kalyanpur Municipality-6 for life along with the confiscation of property after finding him guilty of killing his 30 years wife Samila Khatun.
A single bench of District Court judge Gayetri Prasad Regmi gave the verdict regarding the case.
The accused had attacked his wife with a khukuri over a family dispute and complaint against the accused was lodged at Area Police Office by the victim’s party.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at District Hospital. The accused was remanded in custody since six months.
