The District Court of Gulmi has ordered to sentence five people after finding them guilty on gang raping 34 years old woman.
The convicts are Buddha Nepali, 18 of Gulme Musikot Municipalirty-1, 16 years old boy , 10 years old boy, 24 years old Dhruba Thapa and 18 years old Hari Bahadur Khatri. Among them, the court has ordered to sentence 18 years old Nepali and 16 year old boy for 10 years with 25,000 penalty, 10 years old boy for five years sentence with 25,000 penalty, 24 years old Dhruba and 18 years old Hari Bahadur for three months sentence.
A single bench of district court judge Ram Prasad Neupane had given the verdict regarding the case. The victim’s party had lodged complaint at District Police Office on October 1 against gang rape. On a same day victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Gulmi.
