The District Court of Rupendehi has ordered to sentence 30 years old Purna Bahadur Chantyal of Butwn sub-metropolis-11 for 10 years after finding him guilty on raping seven years old girl. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim from the accused.
A single bench of district court judge Him Lal Belbase had given the verdict. The victim’s party had lodged complaint against the accused for rape on April 1. He was arrested on a same day by the police.
The victim had undergone the health checkup at Lumbini Zonal Hospital on a same day.
