The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 20 years old Amit Chaudhary of Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-7 for eight years along with the compensation of Rs 50,000 after finding him guilty on raping 14 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Ishwori Prasad Gautam had given a verdict regarding the case on April 8.
The accused had raped a girl on February 14 and complaint against him was lodged on next day. He was arrested on a same day and the victim underwent treatment at Rapti sub-regional hospital on February 15.
