A dead body of a missing woman Punam Devi Das , 30 of Matihani Municipality-2 has been recovered from the field at Bardaha in Matihani -2 on April 4. She went missing since two days and search for her was going on. The nature of the body shows that she might have been killed according to the District Police Office of Mahottari.
Her body was covered and kept inside jute and plastic bag near the field in Dhirapur road section, 1 km far from her house.
The nature of the body shows that she might have strangulated. The victim’s husband Shivashanker was in foreign employment is Saudi Arabia and there was dispute between them after his return according to locals.
Police have arrested three people in suspicion for the investigation.
