The Lamahi Municipality of Dang has announced for the free treatment to the free Kamlari. The meeting held on April 4 has decided to provide a free service to the Kamlaris according to Lamahi Municipality chief Kul Bahadur KC.
The municipality said that the letter has been corresponded to the governmental health center for the free treatment. For the treatment, the beneficiary must be free Kamlari holding the Id card and must be from the Lamahi Municipality.
Chief KC said that there are no exact data of how many free Kamlaris are in the municipality. He added that they will be provided with free pathology, blood culture and X-ray services to the Kamlaris.
There are about 5,000 rescued free Kamlaris. It is believed that the free treatment will improve the Kamlari children health according to former free Kamlari Urmila Chaudhary.
The same meeting has also decided to provide free service to senior citizens above the age of 60 and children below the age of 5.
