Police have arrested 28 years old Mahendra Pandhaka of Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 on March 13 on charge of raping 23 years old woman.
The accused was absconding after the incident however he was arrested from Lingrupa of Phidim Municipality-14 according to inspector Bigyan Basnet of DPO.
The complaint against the accused was lodged at DPO on March 11 and the victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Panchthar on a same day the complaint was lodged.
