A poor senior citizen at Pashupati Nagar-4 were provided with a financial support by Madhesi Korean Society after the news regarding the poor financial condition of the couple was published in INSEC online news portal on November 16. The couple has seeked for financial assistance through Mahottari District representative Ajaya Shah.
The society had provided a financial support to the couple on December 25. Ram Bahadur Mahato,67 of Pashupati Nagar-4. his wife Mantoriya Devi and son Dukhi were homeless and were living at Alai Land since long time.
They were in accute financial condition after all of them could not earn money. Their money were even stolen.
The Korean Madhesi society had provided Rs 37,000 to the couple by going to the place where they were living.
Treasurer Dinesh Kumar Mahato of the society had deposited the money by opening their account in a bank.
Media personnel, Shankar Kumar Rauniyar chairperson of Madhesi Korea Society including many others were present in the program.
The couple have one son, Dukhi Mahato who is vision impaired since birth.
