Police have arrested Pappu Mallah, 23, of Siyari Rural Municipality-4, Panditpur on June 6, 2021, on the charge of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.
According to DSP Satya Narayan Thapa, the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on June 6 alleging that the accused had sexually abused her on June 4.
He said that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint and an investigation was underway.
The victim has been examined at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal on June 6.
