Six inmates who had escaped from different Jails across the country during the Gen-Z protest were arrested by Kapilvastu police from different locations after October 6, 2025. According to Reshamlal Bhusal, acting chief of Kapilvastu District Jail, five of the arrested were from Kapilvastu Jail and one from Dang Jail. The arrested individuals are: Jamuna Tharu, 52, Pradip Kurmi, 36, Sukai Lodh, 27, Ram Prasad Kori, 34, Manoj Thapa, 20, Basanta Damai Pariyar (age not disclosed), from Ghorahi Jail
