From Dhanusha Constituency No. 1, the candidacy of Kishori Sah, representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been annulled by the Election Commission, Acting Chief Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari informed.
After an investigation based on the complaint filed against Sah, her candidacy was annulled following confirmation of evidence that she was listed in the blacklist of banks and financial institutions.
According to the updated records of the Credit Information Center, the candidate Sah, who is a shareholder of Kamal Nirman Seva Pvt. Ltd., was still on the blacklist in 2024. On various dates, her name appeared individually and jointly in the records related to check bounce blacklists, as stated by Bhandari.
