Condolence
We are saddened by the demise of former chairperson of NHRC and former Chief justice Nayan Bahadur Khatri at the age of 99 on the night of May 23. We would like to express our deep sorrow to the bereaved family members.
Late Khatri had played an important role during his tenure at National Human Rights Commission to develop capacity and expanding its identity. His contribution in the field of human rights and social justice will be remembered for a long time.
