Two brothers have been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Dil Maya Budhathoki, 73, at gunpoint in Khanidanda, Chisapani, Jantedhunga Rural Municipality–5, on June 29, 2026.
According to Inspector Nirajan Basnet of the District Police Office, Santosh Rai, 25, and Sandesh Rai, 18, of Khanidanda, Chisapani, Jantedhunga Rural Municipality–5, were arrested on June 29 along with a muzzle-loading firearm for allegedly threatening the elderly woman over a financial dispute.
