INSEC Sudurpashchim Province Office, Dhangadhi, provided financial assistance on June 26, 2026, to a 14-year-old girl who survived an alleged human trafficking and transportation-related offense to support her participation in legal proceedings.
The assistance was provided to the girl from Kailari Rural Municipality–7, Rampur, to help ease the financial burden of pursuing justice through the legal process.
The girl’s family had sought support through the Human Rights Help Desk operated by INSEC, citing severe financial hardship that made it difficult to attend police and court proceedings. In response, the INSEC Sudurpashchim Province Office provided Rs. 10,000 in financial assistance.
The girl’s family had filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kailali, on April 22, 2026, alleging that Amarnath Chaudhari, 40, from Kailari Rural Municipality–7, Basanta, attempted to traffic the child on April 8, 2026.
Similarly, the INSEC Sudurpashchim Province Office, Dhangadhi, also provided financial assistance on June 26, 2026, to two girls, aged seven and six, who are survivors of separate rape cases, to support their access to legal proceedings.
The families of both children had submitted applications to the Human Rights Help Desk operated by INSEC, stating that their difficult economic circumstances had made it challenging to pursue the judicial process. INSEC provided Rs. 10,000 to each child as financial support.
According to the complaints, a 15-year-old boy from Lamkichuha Municipality allegedly raped the seven-year-old girl on May 14, 2026. The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lamki, on May 17, 2026.

According to the complaints, the family of the seven-year-old girl alleged that a 15-year-old boy from Lamkichuha Municipality raped her on May 14, 2026, and filed a complaint with the Area Police Office, Lamki, on May 17, 2026.
In a separate case, the family of a six-year-old girl alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a 15-year-old boy on May 9, 2026. A complaint was filed at the Area Police Office, Lamki, on May 17.
