Police have arrested Sajilal Rikhyasan, 39, on July 19, 2021, in accusation of beating and killing his wife Sangeeta Tudu, 34, of Gauradaha Municipality-1.
DSP Rakesh Thapa of District Police Office told INSEC that the accused had taken the victim to a tent constructed by Uddhyam Krishi Sahakari in Gauradaha Municipality-1 on July 15 and killed her due to some family dispute. The accused was arrested from Sakhuwathan in Rangeli Municipality-9, Morang, on July 19 after he had absconded.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted on July 15 at Mechi Hospital, Bhadrapur. The body of the deceased was handed over to her family on the same day.
