An inmate who had escaped from Tanahun Jail on September 9, 2025, during the Gen-Z movement has been arrested by the police.
Jay Kumar Bal Tamang, 30, who was serving a sentence for a drug-related offense and is originally from Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City–4, Makwanpur District, and currently residing in Simpani, Pokhara Metropolitan City–1, Kaski District, was arrested from his home on June 21, and was sent to Tanahun Jail on the same day, according to Information Officer Birendra Kumar Pasaun of the District Police Office, Kaski.
