Accused Arrested in Gang Rape Case

Police arrested Pradip Chand, 21, of Dhangadi Submetropolitan-16, and Paras Ayadi, 19, of the same area on June 7 on charges of gang-raping a 19-year-old girl on June 4.

After calling her to meet them, the accused allegedly gang-raped her. After the victim informed her family about the incident, they filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kailali, on June 6, as stated by Ramlal Chaudhary, Ward Chairperson of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–16.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s side, the accused have been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing, as stated by DSP Yogendra Timsina of the District Police Office, Kailali.

The victim’s health examination was conducted on June 7 at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.
