Over 15 Polling Centers in Jajarkot Classified Highly Sensitive

For the House of Representatives election scheduled on March 5 in Jajarkot, there are 88 polling sites and 147 polling centers. Of these, 16 are classified as highly sensitive, 57 as sensitive, and 15 as general polling centers. To conduct the election, 436 volunteers and 879 staff members have been deployed. Security personnel include 528 Nepal Police, 883 election police under the Nepal Police (totaling 1,014), 189 Armed Police, 96 election police under the Armed Police, totaling 285, and over 600 Nepal Army personnel. All polling centers have been provided with security forces. Chief District Officer Paudel stated that the aim is to conduct the election in a peaceful and fear-free environment.

Election materials and staff, along with security personnel, have reached all 147 polling centers across the seven local levels in the district. Necessary materials such as ballot boxes, ballots, and the swastika stamp, along with security personnel, chief and assistant election officers, and other staff, have already been deployed to the respective polling centers.

Chief District Officer Rajuprasad Paudel confirmed that security personnel and election staff, along with all required materials, have reached the designated polling centers to ensure smooth voting.
