Kailali Establishes Four Temporary Polling Centers

For the House of Representatives election to be held on March 5, temporary polling centers have been established at four locations in the district.

Chief of the Election Office, Dhangadhi, Premraj Bhatt, stated that the temporary polling centers have been set up at the office premises of Tikapur Municipality in Election Constituency No. 1, at the Wandevi Temple premises in Godawari Municipality of Constituency No. 4, at the office premises of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Constituency No. 5, and at the Kailali Prison Branch premises.

According to Chief Bhatt, only voters whose names are included in the permanent voter list, as well as members of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, employees, and inmates, are allowed to vote at the temporary polling centers under the proportional election system.

He further stated that there are 4,196 temporary voters in the district, including 40 inmates.
