Street Drama against Untouchability and Gender Discrimination.
INSEC conducted a street play against untouchability and gender discrimination under a plan formed by the Child Right Group of on May 14, 2023, at Nepal Rastriya Medium School.
According to Lokendra Bhandari, a teacher at the high school, the group hopes the street drama will help address and minimize the deeply rooted caste discrimination in Dallu Municipality.
People’s representatives, members of human rights groups, members of the school management committee, parents, members of child rights groups, and the students were the participants in this event.
Kamal Bahadur Nepali said that the street drama, conducted on May 12 and 14 2023, was against untouchability and gender discrimination, as planned by the Child Right group of Jayadev Medium School, Chamunda Bindasaini Municipality-5 through the ELP project.
Likewise, a street play against Child marriage was performed by the child rights group of Janata Medium School on May 10. The group conducted another street play at Jayadeva Mavi Jambukandh and Premadevi Mavi in Dallu Municipality-9 on May 9.
