Pre-review of Human rights year book held
The pre-review of Human Rights Year book- 2017 has been held in Dhankuta on December 7. The program was organized by Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC).
Speaking at the program, chief guest CDO Prem Prakash Uprety recommended including incidents of human rights violation not only from the district but from villages. He added that the reason behind the incident must be clearly analyzed.
The program was chaired by FNJ chairperson Khagendra Prasad Ghimire. INSEC district representative had made public on 52 incidents of human rights violation and atrocities from January 2016 to November.
In the program, secretary Bijaya Santoshi Rai of Nepali Congress, Tanka Chauhan of CPN UML, Buddhi Kanta Ghimire of RPP, Manju Lohani, chief of Women and Children Office and human rights activist Bidur Subedi had given recommendations on the report.
The program was participated by DSP Pravin lal Shrestha of DPO, Durgesh Thapa of armed police force, coordinator Lal Chandra Gongwa of local peace committee and others.
