Interaction with the District Representatives through INSEC Gandaki
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) Gandaki province conducted an interaction program with the district representatives on January 1.
District representatives informed about the situation of the human rights in their respective districts in the interaction program on ‘Access to judicial proceeding and Justice to the victims of human rights violation.’
Shiva Khakurel, INSEC Gandaki Province Coordinator informed that the institution has been publishing Nepal Human Rights Year Book since 1992 AD.
He also requested the district representatives to write on the issues of education, health, environment and food rights.
As per the province coordinator, senior citizens are deprived from exercising their rights despite the enactment of Senior Citizens Act 2006.
