Interaction Program On Right To Health Completed
An interaction program on the right to health has been completed among the stakeholders in Shubhakalika rural municipality on October 6.
An interaction program has been organized with the objective of ensuring the right to health under the project of making the responsible bodies accountable by making the local community aware.
Problems in the field of health and sanitation were discussed in the program with the participation of village health chiefs, health workers and representatives of human rights groups.
The main problems raised in the program were lack of maternity centre in Shubhakalika rural municipality-1, Chhati village, lack of necessary medical equipment in the health facility and lack of stretcher in the ward health unit.
On the question raised by the participants, Chief of the Health Branch Bhim Bahadur Shahi said that the problems faced by the rural municipality in the health sector should be solved and for this, the health branch should submit a plan to the executive.
