Government’s Process to make Shelter is Hectic: Earthquake victims
The earthquake victims of Betali VDC have complained of government’s process being hectic to make shelter.
The victims complained about the hectic bureaucratic process that needed to be followed while making shelter. They complained while speaking at public hearing program organized in coordination of INSEC with Betali VDC office, US Aid, Common Development Project, GOGO Foundation and Janabhawana Youth Club on December 4.
Coordinator Krishna Prasad Ghimire of Civil Forum at Betali-8 said that engenders and technicians have made the process more complicated despite of making it easy.
Punya Bahadur Basnet of Betali-3 raised question “ Engineers job is to make houses or to earn?” He further complained that engenders will easily give approval if they are paid.
At the program, VDC secretary Punya Prasad Baral of Betali VDC, Health Post in charge Kapildev Adhikari, engineers and Community Development officer Ram Hari Yogi had responded the queries of earthquake victims.
