Formation of Human Rights Defenders Network
A 13-member District Human Rights Defenders Network has been formed on March 26 under the coordination of Dilli Prasad Chaulagain under the Human Rights Defenders Empowerment Program run by Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC).
Dakshina Shahi, Misira Shahi, Ramesh Sunar, Sangeeta Wali, Asodha BK, Tularaj Pandey, Kapure BK, Avisara Adhikari, Govinda Sunar Pratibha Adi, Chhatraroka Magar, and INSEC District Representative Kali Bahadur Malla have been selected as co-coordinators of the network.
Speaking on the occasion, Daman Raj Bam, President of District Bar Association of District Nepal War Association, Khadananda Adhikari, Secretary of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Kalikot, Dilli Prasad Chaulagai of Dilip Shahi Human Rights Alliance of NGO Federation, and others.
