Discussion Held on Health Policy
An interaction program on government’s policy, program and implementation in health sector was organised on July 4 in Damauli in a joint coordination of INSEC and Human Rights Watch committee of Tanahu.
The interaction was held between service takers, civil society, journalists and human rights activists on health services provided in the district so as to make the concerned body accountable and responsible.
Speaking at the program, acting CDO Sishir Paudel said that the services and facilities provided by the government should be managed by local level service providing body. It is the responsibility of concerned body to provide service as indicated by the government and there should not be compromise, he said.
Durga Datta Chapagain, public health inspector of District Health Office presented the work-paper on health services provided by the office.
