Heartfelt Homage
We are saddened by the untimely demise of former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa at the age of 88 on April 15. We express our heartfelt homage to the departed soul and offer our condolences to the bereaved family.
Thapa was active in Nepai politics since six decades. He became Prime Minister of Nepal for five times and was the most senior member of Constituent Assembly. He was also active in ending the recent political impasse in the country. With his demise, Nepal has lost a capable and experienced politician. His absence will always be missed in Nepali politics.
