Appeal to Exercise the Sovereign Right by Participating in Voting
November 19, 2022
November 20, 2022, tomorrow, is the polling day for the Election of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly. Nepal’s territorial integrity and sovereignty are vested in the Nepali people. The periodical election itself is the opportunity through which the citizens direct the administration of the state. They elect and send representatives who make policies and take initiatives to improve the living standards of the people through its implementation.
The election commission has notified that all the preparatory work for the election of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly has been completed. It is the duty of the voters to choose the right representative as the representative chosen by the voting will make the policies. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to conduct free, fair and Fearless elections, while it is the inborn right of the people to choose the candidates they prefer. We appeal to you to participate in the voting without fear, threat or temptation.
