Heartfelt condolence
We are saddened by the untimely demise of former NHRC member, former SC justice and chairperson of senior citizen’s federation, Ramnagina Singh on March 4 at the age of 78. We would like to express our heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and tribute to the departed soul.
His contribution on justice, human rights, social justice and in the issue of senior citizens will always be remembered. He was actively involved regarding the issue of senior citizen’s right in later part of his life. The senior citizen’s issues have been included in Nepal’s constitution, laws and regulations because of the campaign initiated by him. His absence will always create a vacuum in human rights and social justice campaign.
