“Prakash Human Rights Award 2018” to the campaigner against Dowry Practice!
The Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has decided to honor Mr. Mahammad Maqusud Rankey of Yamunamai Rural Municipality-5, Rautahat, a campaigner against Dowry practice, with 24th “Prakash Human Rights Award 2018”. The INSEC Executive Committee meeting held on July 26, 2018 has decided to honor Mr Ranki with “Prakash Human Rights Award 2018” for his continuous contribution in the field Human Rights and Social justice since a decade.
He will be felicitated by honorable Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut as a chief guest of the province number 2 during the program in Janakpurdham on August 1.
“Prakash Human Rights Award” was established in 1994 in memory of INSEC founder late Prakash Kafle. Prior to this, 23 people have already been felicitated with Prakash Human Rights Award. The award carries a purse of 50 thousand rupees with letter of felicitation.
