Women security and shelter house in operation
Women security and shelter house for the victims of domestic violence has come into operation at Patan of Baitadi district with the objectives of providing health services, legal services including their protection.
Chief District Officer Kishore Kumar Chaudhary has inaugurated the shelter house in a program on November 20.
The operating responsibility of the shelter house will be given to Udaya Dev Women saving and loan cooperatives.
The women shelter house is operated in coordination of Women and Children Office and financial support from UN population fund according to Anita Budhayer, chief of Women and children office of Baitadi.
