Woman seriously injured in a beating by family members
Police said that Mandi Yadav, 33 of Maya Devi Rural Municipality-4, Tulsidihawa was seriously beaten by her brother in law Jaya Ram Yadav, 30 and father-in-law on the night of August 29.
The seriously injured woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment in India. She sustained head and back bone injuries according to DSP Rabi Rawal.
The District Police Office said that her father-in-law and brother in law were arrested for investigation.
The victim’s husband is in foreign employment and she was being tortured physically and mentally since then.
