Woman Arrested for Allegedly Killing her Son
A 25-year-old woman of Sakhuwanankarakatti Rural Municipality-5 and currently living in Lahan Municipality-1 was arrested by the Area Police, Lahan on April 23 for the charge of killing her five-year-old son.
The father of the deceased filed a complaint at the Area Police Office on 24 April alleging that the accused killed her son on 23 April.
DSP Bishnu Prasad Soti informed that the post-mortem of the body is prepared to be done at the provincial hospital, Lahan on April 24. He stated that they took the accused into custody after the locals informed the police that they had not seen the boy since morning on 23 April. Additionally, the accused was trying to abscond from the house.
The body of the child was found hidden and injured inside the bed. It is reported that the accused is separated from her husband and had been living with her son. Moreover, further investigation into the incident going on.
