Wife Murdered By Husband
Police said that Sonam Regmi,22 of Pokhara sub-metropolis-7, Chalise chwok was stabbed to death by her husband Sanjeev Bahadur Nepali,28 on August 17.
The couple was married two years ago however the case of their divorce was registered at court according to Sonam’s maternal uncle Rajendra Sharma.
They were living separately and on the evening of August 17, the victim was stabbed to death by an accused while she was staying at home according to DSP Gajusiddhi Bajracharya of DPO.
The accused took poison after the incident and police were informed by locals. Sanjeev is undergoing treatment at Gandaki Medical College whereas post-mortem of deceased was conducted at Western regional hospital according to the DSP Bajracharya.
