Wife axed to death by husband
Ward police office of Chandraut has said that 40 years old Basanta Pariyar of Shiva Raj Municipality-1, Bankatti has attacked his wife Sumitra Pariyar, 35 with an axe and killed her.
Police said that she was attacked with an axe on the night of October 28 while she was sleeping.
The victim sustained serious injuries on her head and hand according to the inspector Maheshwor Upadhyaya of ward police office of Chandraut.
The accused is at large and search for him is intensified according to the police. The body has been taken to the Shivaraj Hospital Bahadurgunj for postmortem and further investigation of the incident is undergoing. The victim has 2 daughters and one son.
