Despite the implementation of the silent period, on November 18, Chief Minister Rajendra Prasad Pandey promoted himself by paving a road in Naubise Bazar.

The Election Commission was immediately informed about the incident, and a complaint was lodged against Chief Minister Pandey.

The Election Commission has found that Chief Minister has violated the Election Code of Conduct and misused the state power.

Minister Pandey is a candidate for the House of Representatives election from Constituency no.1.

Meanwhile, the ruling coalition, CPN-UML and RPP have started bringing their party workers from Kathmandu and Pokhara in reserve vehicles with their flags visible. The police removed the flags and banners against the code of conduct in Malekhu on November 19.

The police also removed banners and sticker flags from the vehicle used by Basu Maya Tamang, the candidate of the National Independent Party.
