Voter’s Education Program Postponed after the clash

At least four cadres from United Madhesi Morcha were injured in a clash between police while they attempted to obstruct the voter’s education program operated by the District Election Commission in Rajbiraj.

The clash started after the cadres started to snatch the election materials by entering into the program of voter’s education according to District Election Commissioner Mahesh Thakur.

In a clash, Binod Yadav, Shambhu Yadav, Asho Lal Yadav and Manoj Raut of the party were injured in baton charge by the police. The injured are being treated at Gajendra Narayan Hospital.

The District Election Commission had postponed the program after the situation became more tensed according to Thakur.

The District Education Office had established office of the election officers at Krishnasabaran and Tilathi Koiladi Village council of which the main office  is in Rajbiraj.
