Vote Counting Postponed in Tilottama Municipality After Dispute
The counting of votes in Tilottama Municipality-16 has been postponed due to a dispute between the enumerators and the Nepali Congress representatives.
The Nepali Congress has accused the enumerators of supporting the CPN-UML, saying that the number of votes counted should have been 195 out of 159.
Election officer Madhav Lohani said that slogans, processions and stone pelting were taking place outside the polling station and security personnel were present.
A team from INSEC and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) visited the disputed area to monitor the situation.
