Vote Counting Postponed in Manahari Rural Municipality Until Further Notice
The vote counting at Manahari Rural Municipality-9 has been postponed until further notice due to dispute during the counting.
The dispute was caused on May 18 after the staffs were accused of not covering the ballot boxes with a plain cloth.
A statement issued by Manahari Rural Municipality’s Election Officer Purna Bahadur Darji said that the counting of votes was halted after the representatives of the political parties disputed that the ballot boxes should be covered.
Counting of votes in wards 1 to 8 has been completed in Manahari and only counting of votes in ward no. 9 is left.
