Victim’s family demanded for truth investigation
The victim’s family of 56-year-old Nama Devi Pokhrel have demanded to investigate and find the fact about her death in an explosion in the field near her house.
The victim’s family said that they are more victimized by not publicizing the fact about the incident until September 16 and further demanded the government to find out the criminal and take action against those involved in an incident. The family have also demanded for proper compensation.
The victim, Nama Devi Pokhrel died in an explosion on arch 19, 2015. The reason behind the explosion and who did it is still not clear and the state has been given pressure by the victim’s family to find out the truth, said younger son of the victim, Pramod Pokhrel.
He added that he organized a press meet and urged human rights activists and media personnel to help him as the state has failed to find out the truth.
The government had formed three member investigation committee in a coordination of vice secretary Keshav Raj Acharya of Home Ministry. It has handed over the report to the Home Ministry, however no report regarding the incident has been made public yet.
