Victims of Arson Receive Support After Coordination of INSEC Representative
After the initiative of INSEC representative, Red Cross district branch Lamjung has provided relief materials to the fire victims of arson. The victims are residents of Besishahar Municipality-11.
Similarly, the Disaster Management Committee of District Administration Office Lamjung has also supported them with NPR. 15,000.
Chief District Officer Sushil Baidya handed over the amount to the victim Ujeli Sarki in his office on September 4.
A one-storey house of Aite Sarki and Ujeli Sarki caught fire on the morning of August 9 due to the leaking of cooking gas.
This family has been displaced because the house was destroyed by fire.
Due to the fire, all the clothes, utensils, cash, important documents and other items inside the house were destroyed.
Ward Chairperson Shivbabu Joshi said that as soon as he got the news of the fire, he took food, cloths, zinc sheets and other materials and provided them.
