Update of September 9 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 998,542 after 110 additional new cases on September 9, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 984,082 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with the 133 latest recovered. There are 2,448 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,186 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,012. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one death was recorded. On September 9, 2,108 people were tested through the antigen process and 42 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 151,363 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till September 9, 21,995,061 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
