Update of September 5 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 997,990 after 112 additional new cases on September 5, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 983,539 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.6% along with the 206 latest recovered. There are 2,444 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,519 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,007 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On September 5, 2,539 people were tested through the antigen process and 99 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 151,006 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till September 5, 21,686,037 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
