Update of September 4 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 997,868 after 116 additional new cases on September 4, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 983,333 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 230 latest recovered. There are 2,528 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,756 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,007 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were no deaths recorded. On September 4, 1,694 people were tested through the antigen process and 108 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,907 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till September 4, 21,571,709 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
