Update of September 30 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 795,061 after additional 898 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on September 30, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 765,758 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 96.3% along with 911 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 8,555 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on September 30, 9% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 18.9% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,135. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 12 people died on September 30. There are 18,168 people in home isolation. Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Makwanpur, Kaski, and Rupandehi, have more than 500 active cases.

On September 30, 3,210 people were tested through the antigen process among which 180 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 91,553 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the Ministry, 6,285,740 people have been fully vaccinated till September 30.
