Update of September 25 Regarding COVID-19 Infection

The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 790,662 after additional 790 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on September 25, 2021. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 759,875 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 96.1% along with 1,371 latest recovered.

According to the Ministry, 7,050 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Out of the total number of tests conducted on September 25, 11% were diagnosed positive and overall there were 19% people diagnosed positive till now.

Till now, the death toll has reached 11,087. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, six people died on September 25. There are 19,700 people in home isolation. Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Makwanpur, Kaski, and Rupandehi, have more than 500 active cases.

On September 25, 3,529 people were tested through the antigen process among which 163 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 90,443 people have been diagnosed positive with antigen process. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated into this number. According to the ministry, 6,014,941 people have been fully vaccinated till September 25.
