Update of September 2 Regarding COVID-19 Infection
The number of COVID-19 infected people reached 997,660 after 134 additional new cases on September 2, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 982,764 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.5% along with the 398 latest recovered. There are 2,891 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,595 swabs were collected for PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 12,005 According to the Ministry of Health and Population, five deaths were recorded. On September 2, 1,274 people were tested through the antigen process and 72 were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 150,773 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. Till September 3, 21,454,594 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
